Sally Ward has worked extensively in education and training across her career. With a Master’s degree in Public and Development Management, she has held senior positions in non-governmental organisations around the world and has experience in health promotion, higher education and organisational strategy and management. Sally was appointed Acting General Manager in December 2019 when Jane Drumm semi-retired.
Denise has broad experience as an accomplished senior executive with commercial and public sector experience in New Zealand and Australia. Her previous roles have included being Chief Executive at the Victorian Work Cover Authority in Australia, a general manager at the Accident Compensation Corporation and an assistant auditor general. As well as contributing to various NGO organisations and actively supporting socially-minded entrepreneurs, Denise supports New Zealand’s contemporary art and design sector, especially new and emerging talent.
Heather Clark joined PSN in June 2010. She has 20 years’ senior HR experience with the Foundation of the Blind and for the past nine years with the NZ Fire Service. Heather has a strong commitment to the not-for-profit sector through involvement as a board member with the Foundation for Youth Development Waitakere and Volunteering NZ. She is a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ).
Andrea McLeod is General Manager, Social Services at Presbyterian Support Northern. She represents the home and community health sector on a number of forums including the role of Chair of the Home and Community Health Association, and is a director on the board of Careerforce - the Industry Training Organisation.
Andrea’s background is as a Registered Nurse and she brings over 20 years of experience and knowledge in health and community services management to the role.
Wendy has worked at PSN since 2014 originally as General Manager Development, then Chief Operating Officer and most recently as GM Enliven. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the health and social sectors working in management positions in Auckland DHB and Waikato DHB in both Operational Management and Funding and Planning Management. Wendy is also member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Laurie has been with Family Works since 2007, following extensive experience working with the Auckland District Health Board in various roles, including change management. “As an NGO, we can make some choices about how people can best be helped. I enjoy working in a values-based environment that has children and families at the forefront.”
