World Social Work Day 16 March is the day social workers worldwide stand together to advance our common message globally. This year the theme is Ubuntu: I am Because We Are – strengthening social solidarity and global connectedness.
Today we recognise the essential role our social workers have in connecting people, whānau/family, and communities. Our social workers walk alongside families to help them make positive, lasting changes, and in doing so, we are all helping to build sustainable, fair and just communities.
