Social Workers in Schools
Social Workers in Schools (SWiS) are delivered by Family Works Northern, which is is one of Presbyterian Support Northern's social services.
Social Workers work with children, their families/whānau and schools to help protect vulnerable children and develop plans to improve their safety, wellbeing and educational outcomes. Services provided by the Social Workers include individual case work, as well as group-based programmes for children and parents.
Family Works Northern invites all SWiS clients to complete an evaluation survey at service closure. This report summarises the results of the Financial Year 2021 feedback.
