Community Wellbeing Initiative (CWI)

Community Wellbeing Initiative is a Presbyterian Support Northern (PSN) mental health wellbeing programme delivered by LifelineConnect. This was delivered between July 2022 and November 2023 by Presbyterian Support Northern LifelineConnect in partnership with the Presbyterian Church community. Ministers, administrators and members of the church congregations attended the workshops.

This report summarises the key findings of the programme delivered in that period. Overall, the evaluation found the programme successful in achieving both the short-term and medium-term outcomes. Participants increased their skills and knowledge of self-care, learned how to support others in stress and distress, and became more confident.  There is also evidence that participants applied the learning to support others or positively impact their community's wellbeing.
