Paula is a Chartered Member, Institute of Directors and has an MBA (Distinction) from Waikato University.
Currently Trust Manager for Braemar Charitable Trust and owner of Hamilton’s Braemar Hospital, Paula’s previous governance roles include National Advisor-Governance at Plunket, Deputy Chair Hospice Waikato and NZ Dietitians Board, Chair of Hamilton Cricket and board member of disability service providers Enrich+, Community Living Trust and its IT social enterprise subsidiary, Platform Plus Ltd.
Paula currently sits on the Boards of Northern Districts Cricket, the Waihikurangi Trust, Hamilton’s Alandale Retirement Village and is a Trustee for the Hamilton Sky City Community Trust, member of the Waikato Community Lotteries distribution committee and is health sector lead on the MBIE’s Waikato Regional Skills Leadership group. Paula is also a shareholder representative on the Kerikeri Retirement Village Board.
Paula joins PSN with a passion for community development and working with organisations to build sustainable and resilient communities and to support the health and wellbeing of families/whānau.
Paula is married to Stuart and they have two daughters, age 21 and 23.
