Major health and disability and social services provider Presbyterian Support Northern today opened its new head office in Greenlane, Auckland.
Located in the former Public Trust office at 205 Great South Rd, Auckland, the site accommodates PSN’s support services, along with Shine family violence services and Education and Training.

Previously, the support functions and services were delivered from three separate central Auckland sites.
PSN Chief Executive Shaun Greaves says two previous building leases expiring at the same time provided impetus to move teams into one office.
“We’re excited about the move. For the first time in more than 10 years, our support services will be located on one site, which will improve efficiency, enhance collaboration and communication, ultimately resulting in better service to clients.
“The new office has also been specifically designed to enable Shine clients to attend programmes while maintaining safety and privacy.
“In addition, the location is well serviced by bus routes and is close to the Greenlane train station, giving staff and visitors plenty of transport options.”
The support service teams based in the new office provide support to PSN’s extensive range of services covering the upper North Island from Taupō to Whangārei. Some activities, such as Shine Education & Training, are delivered nationally.
“Our support services are vital for our organisation,” say Greaves. “They not only provide IT and communication resources to frontline social workers, counsellors and community support workers, but they inform the public about what we do, raise highly needed funds and conduct research into how our services are performing and what improvements can be made.
“It’s critical work so naturally I’m delighted that we’ll all be together to provide this mahi along with our Shine services for the benefit of our region’s most vulnerable populations.”
