Before Shine joined PSN in July 2016, Jane Drumm had served as Shine’s Executive Director since 1998. Under her leadership, Shine grew from four staff and a budget of $180,000 to an organisation with a national profile, more than 30 staff and a budget of more than $3 million. Jane has undertaken two major overseas study trips to study what works to stop domestic abuse in the United Kingdom (under a Winston Churchill Fellowship) and in North America. Using what she learned, Jane initiated a number of Shine’s innovative and unique services. Previously, Jane worked as a Victim Advisor for Auckland District Court for one year and as a Probation Officer for thirteen years.
