Evaluation purpose:
The evaluation aims to assess clients’ perceptions on service quality and delivery as well as the self-identified outcomes regarding their wellbeing and maximising their independence.
Background:
PSN's home-based support services assist individuals who need help with daily tasks such as personal care, household management, and social connection, enabling them to live independently in their own homes. They also offer respite care, long-term support for chronic conditions, and help for those recovering from injury or transitioning from hospital or rest home care.
Key findings:
Many respondents provided positive feedback regarding the services they received, with a significant majority indicating they would recommend the service to others. The qualitative feedback further affirmed the high levels of satisfaction with both the service and the improvement in their wellbeing. Key factors contributing to this satisfaction included the helpfulness, friendliness, and supportiveness of staff, assistance with personal care, and a strong focus on client wellbeing.
